A Pre-construction Treatment can be beneficial in many aspects. Treatments provide a protection against wood destroying pests from damaging your structure. It is a very cost effective in overall cost of building any new structure. It's an added selling point if the structure is being built to be sold.

When should I have a treatment done?

For best results, a treatment should be performed after the framing or basic construction is complete. In the case of a new home or structure, a treatment should be done after framing. For decks and remodeled areas, treatment should be done before any stain or paint is applied to the material.
